Scott Brodbeck MAI



Scott Brodbeck founded Legacy Appraisal Services in 2010 and has since grown the firm to be a national leader in timberland investment consulting and valuation. Scott’s experience includes timberland valuation on large complex properties throughout the southeast as well as international valuation in New Zealand. He specializes in helping clients identify portions of their timberland portfolio that could be designated for higher and better uses including hunting retreats, conservation easements, mitigation banks and various encumbrances. Scott leads Legacy’s strategic disposition/acquisition projects for clients and oversees the firm’s econometric based investment modeling. He routinely speaks and gives presentations throughout the country. He is a Designated Member of the Appraisal Institute, a member of the Society of American Foresters, and a Steering Committee Member of the Florida Forestry Association.
