About

Jesse joined Legacy Appraisal Services in 2013. He has performed valuations on large, complex timberland ownerships with a geographic focus ranging from southern Appalachia through eastern and southern Canada, the northeast and lake states. In Central and South America, he has completed consulting work and due diligence services on teak, eucalyptus, and pine plantations where his geographic scope covers the countries of Nicaragua, Costa Rica, Panama, Guatemala, Brazil, Chile, Uruguay, Peru, and Argentina. He holds certified general licensure in 6 Appalachian and Northeast states as well as Michigan and Wisconsin. Other projects include wood supply studies, client information marketing reports, timber pricing analyses, and complex conservation assignments, including lakefront, farmland, right-of-way, and timberland easement valuations. Previous work includes procurement for a hardwood sawmill, inventory analysis and monitoring for the US Forest Service and GIS development for a private engineering firm. Jesse has a B.S. in forestry from the University of Maine with a concentration in forest management of northern hardwood resource.
